30 DAYS BEFORE & AFTER: Intermittent Fasting 16:8 Day 5

Intermittent Fasting 16:8 Day 5 Hunger

If you are like me, you are probably used to thinking about what you will be having for breakfast upon waking up. However, that did not happen today. It has only been the 5th day of Intermittent Fasting but today there are no hunger pangs, in the slightest. The process of Intermittent Fasting has been so counterintuitive thus far. You are probably worried about feeling intense hunger after sixteen hours of fasting too but that feeling of hunger or the habit of eating something upon waking up just dissipated this morning.

Intermittent Fasting: Why Am I Not Hungry?

Periodic Nature of Fasting

Intermittent Fasting is “intermittent“, that is, periodic in nature versus let’s say a Caloric Restrictive Diet which arguably involves a “constant” hunger. The beauty about Intermittent Fasting is that you are fasting intermittently followed by periods of refeeding your body with nourishing foods, that your body utilizes more efficiently.

Nourishing Foods

If you do decide to go down the path of Intermittent Fasting, you will notice that not only your physical sense of “hunger” changes, but also the types of foods your body intuitively needs, and wants, are very different from what you have eaten in the past. In my experience, I have noticed that my body “tells” me to consume more deeply nourishing, rich, foods that I may not have consumed otherwise. This way of eating naturally eliminates the need for snacking as you are kept fuller, for longer periods of time.

Increased Energy

When you stop eating throughout your day, and instead truncate your eating within a limited time window, your body no longer dedicates energy to digestion ALL day long, and that is one of the most amazing benefits of Intermittent Fasting. You start experiencing “energy” throughout your day, and if you spend time cultivating ways of tuning into that energy, and “moving” that energy around your body, you become magnetized, and more focused on your goals, whatever they may be.

Intermittent Fasting: Not Disturbed By Constant Hunger

Most of us have goals that we put off because we are bogged down by daily living. A key part of that daily existence is EATING. What if you get a chance to restructure your life so that you CAN eat when you WANT to? What if you no longer are ruled by HUNGER pangs throughout your day? Intermittent Fasting has the ability to reset your body, reset your hormones, and nurture your ability to CONTROL this otherwise reactionary process.

Intermittent Fasting: Loving And Looking Forward To Nourishing Foods

Imagine a life where you can CHOOSE when to enjoy meals, if you are like me, you will create more decadent, nourishing meals that are not only delicious but that keeps you satiated and satisfied until you decide to have your next meal.

Breaking Three Meals A Day Paradigm

Who decided that you needed to eat three meals a day? Who decided that breakfast was the most important meal of the day? Are you even hungry when you consume your breakfast each day? Perhaps you are functioning in an automatic state of “shoulds” and Intermittent Fasting can help you take back control and autonomy over one part of life. This confidence will inevitably overflow to other areas of your existence, leading to more conscious decisions.
