What is Zinc?

Zinc is a trace element that is an essential micronutrient for your health and nutrition. Hearty Beef Stew with Potatoes

Ingredients:

1 LB Pasture Raised Beef Stew Meat (Chopped into Small Cubes)

1 Small Chopped Red Onions

8 Cloves Chopped Garlic

1 TSP Tomato Paste

1 TBSP Organic Coconut Oil

1 Bay Leaf

1 TSP Paprika

1/2 TSP Chinese All Spice Powder

1 TSP Dried Basil Leaves

1 TSP Dried Thyme Leaves

1 TBSP Yoshida Sauce

Salt

Pepper

1 Medium Sized Chopped Potato

Water

Directions:

You will need a pan with a cover.

Place skillet on medium heat. Once pan is hot, add coconut oil first, followed by onion, and garlic. Keep stirring for a minute, then add tomato paste, and stir.

Wash and dry the beef cubes, and add to pan, stir all ingredients together. Add potatoes, paprika, all spice powder, basil, thyme, salt, and pepper. Keep mixing all ingredients in the pan.

Add hot water to cover the meat and potatoes, then add the bay leaf, and Yoshida sauce. Stir, and cover skillet.

Leave to simmer for about 20 minutes.

Check occasionally to ensure there is still enough liquid in the pot, if not, add more water.

After 20 minutes, taste the gravy for salt, and pepper. Add more if you prefer. You may also add hot peppers for a spicier stew.

Leave the lid uncovered and let it simmer down to the amount of gravy you desire.

This Stewed Beef dish can fit into many different diets depending on how it is served.

It is incredibly delicious when served over white rice. It may also be served with cauliflower rice to make it compatible with Paleo/Whole30, or over brown rice to adhere to a Mediterranean diet.
